Hello,
Around the corner we can see the warm weather on the horizon, that means
Spring Break is drawing near. This year Spring Break is March 15th-19th
and kicking off the break with early release on March 12th at 12:30 P.M.
Report Cards will be sent home with the students that Friday as well as
being mailed home. Please make sure that your contact information is up
to date in the front office.
This week marks the first edition of The Sequoia Voice. The is a Horne
campus exclusive with news and highlights from all schools sharing the
Mesa location. It is student-driven news, and they have done a fantastic
job. This will be available on email, on-line through our website and in
print. Mr. Scott Bolka, on-line lab advisor is the Editor-In-Chief. Mr
Bolka has gathered all parent email addresses on file from the front
office, make sure that received the first edition in your inbox. Hard
copies will be available in the office soon.
The first round of AIMS testing was a great success and almost all
students were tested without on the first try. Thank you to everyone for
helping Sequoia out. The next round of testing comes in early April and
we look to have an even better testing rate.
One more date to mark on the calendar. March 30th at 7:00 P.M. in room
402 will be the next Sequoia Site Council Meeting. Thank you to all who
showed up on February 28th. Come ready to work as we will discuss
important issues facing Sequoia Secondary.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy the start to the spring training baseball
season.
Thank You,
--
